BLITZKRIEG EVENT AT ANSAL PLAZA PALAM VIHAR IN ASSOSIATION WITH IBS

Once again Ansal Plaza invites you all to come and participate in the event.
BLITZKRIEG
"BLITZKRIEG" the annual festival of IBS-Gurgaon, the much awaited event for B-schools and the corporate sector is an attempt to bring together the innovative, entrepreneurial minds of the country to fight it out at a competitive platform. The dates have been scheduled as 29th, 30th November and 1st December. A footfall of 10,000+ including students, faculty and people from the corporate world are expected to attend the event. "BLITZKRIEG 08-09" will receive extensive coverage by the print and electronic media.
BLITZKRIEG ‘07 witnessed an overwhelming response from the corporate world. This year too with the help of Ansal Plaza we anticipate an active participation from an increasing list of participants. The long list of sponsors for Blitzkrieg 2007 included corporate houses such as Hero Honda, Reebok, BPCL and ITC. The media partners that provided coverage were HT, Aaj-Tak, and Radio Mirchi among others. "Band of boys" was the major crowd puller at celeb night last year at "BLITZKRIEG ‘07". Derek O’ Brien was the celebrity compare for the business quiz Zephyr and he would make his benign presence felt this year too.

In this event music bands of different B-Schools and colleges will be performing and competing.
2. Abhinay - The Dramatics
It is an inter college dramatics competition where the teams have to enact a play.
3. Alaap – War of Voices
It is a solo song competition where participants of different colleges will be performing and competing.
4. Le Ballo – Dance Fusion
IBS-G takes immense pleasure in providing you a platform to show your dancing skills.
5. Yatra – Rediscover India
In this event competing teams will be preparing a tourism promotional campaign for the state chosen by them.
6. Business Baazigar
This event tests the acumen of the budding managers in launching a new product in the market giving them a feel of the entire procedure starting with the conceiving the idea, developing the product, coming out with the marketing mix and plan, launching it and finally selling it in the real world.

7. Dumb Charads Dumb shears starts here.
This involves enactment of punch lines and names of companies.
8. D-code
In this event teams have to solve a series of puzzles, or clues. Each clue leads to a specific location, where the team must search for a hidden token proving they correctly solved the clue. The token might be wording on a historical plaque, the address of a unique building, a business name, automobile part or adhesive letters cleverly hidden.
9. Wheelz- The Concept Car
The event is to launch a car within the given restrictions. Restrictions will be Budgeting, Designing, and Performance. You have to prepare and launch the car under the given specifications. The ultimate target is to sell the car to the judges. You can make an advertisement or any promotional tool for it.
10. Numero Uno- The Best Manager
Fancy yourself as a smart Manager? Well here is your chance to prove it. Be prepared for a grueling session as you are put through rounds of serious business competition.
11. Stratagem
Stratagem is a detailed event which will judge the students on various grounds and provide them a real life simulation of the way marketing strategies are drafted and executed in the industry. There will be a newly launched product/service for each team for which it will have to prepare the marketing and selling strategy. They would have to consider factors like STP, Product Mix, logistics, Packaging, Media Buying, innovative advertising mediums, after sales service and consumer retention.
12. Logomania
Each group, in a stipulated frame of time, will have to make
maximum number of logos on the face and certain body parts of one of their group members. The maximum number of recognized logos shall steer a team to its victory.

Check Mate…Now In this event write up will be invited on a specific topic that will be common for all the college; write up will consist of 800-1000 words (Maximum). Short listed teams will be allotted a topic a week before the final round. Each team has to give a presentation on the given topic for 10 minutes, followed by question –answers session of 5 minutes.

16. Investomania – It’s all about Money IBS Gurgaon proudly presents our very own virtual stock game which will test the participants investing skills as well as their ability to plan out during stressful situations.
17. Junk Inc.
This event will test your creativity as you need to use industrial or other waste material, except organic waste to create realistic and marketable office/business accessories.
18. Plan Empresarial
Participants have to develop a new business idea that may be in the field of hotel & catering, store retailing, personal services, business & communication services, etc. Teams selected for stage II would need to present their new business plan at "BLITZKRIEG 2008".

20. The Business Plan
Participants have to develop a new business idea and an IT support system that may be in the field of hotel & catering, store retailing, personal services, business & communication services, etc. Teams selected for stage II would need to present their new business plan on December, 2008 at "BLITZKRIEG".
21. Fashimite
A platform is here to show how stylish, how fashionable, how innovative, you can be. Come and set the stage on fire… but in fashion!!!
